About Us

Expertise. Intuition. Ingenuity.

We are a husband and wife consultancy team with over 40 years lived experience across a broad variety of sectors.  We have a genuine curiosity around what makes different people tick, and take time to listen to your ideas, values and goals, using the skills we have gained from the ground up throughout our working careers.

We are not suit wearing corporate consultants who have learned what we know entirely from a text book.  Our real-life business experience is our knowledge to share.  We are local people, having lived and worked in regional Victoria since the 1990’s.  What you see is what you get (sorry – no fancy glass and concrete office), we have no hidden overheads or clever agendas promising you illusions of grandeur. We offer a practical and process driven approach to helping ordinary people just like us - who are running small to medium sized entities to achieve the things that brings success to their business.

We are driven by what YOU want to achieve.  Whether you are navigating your way through the endless minefield of trying to create efficient office operations; making sure your productivity is reaching target; building supportive cohesive and collaborative teams; or working out where to from here after reaching important milestones, we are committed to helping you navigate the issues that may stand in the way of your success and growth.

We offer a customised approach and take the time to listen to you and your goals, building a plan with you to

achieve the things you want.

With almost 40 years’ experience in administration working across a broad variety of industries,  she has a well-developed suite of skills which form the core services offered by Simply Business Solutions.

The fundamentals of business administration management are comprised of a transportable set of practices, which can be applied across all sectors.  This is demonstrated by her work with organisations including Westpac, Drake Training, North West Country Credit, Central Goldfields Shire, Ballarat Health Services, professional associations, and a number of private businesses within the Ballarat region in the automotive, hospitality, recreation, primary producers and professional therapy sectors.

Cas's strength is on helping small to medium enterprises design, streamline and implement robust, transparent and perpetual office practices based around the needs of the business – rather than the individual. How many times have you heard the story of the long-term administrator who has left a business, taking with them all knowledge and history of the day-to-day office functions?  The interruption to a business following the loss of a key admin role impacts all areas, as at the core of every entity is an administrative function which supports and underpins the entire operation.

Are your current administration functions performing to ‘best practice’?

She is a natural communicator who loves to delve into the details.  Governance, logic and process are among her greatest tools, and she is driven by the commitment to identify ways to help organisations succeed.

Whether it is keeping your accounts in check, liaising with your accountant, managing your payroll, helping with procedural solutions and compliance or working with key stakeholders on a special project, she can bring a new level of support by helping you stay focussed on the core aspects of your business.
